Matt’s 100 Mile Race

Matt accomplished an incredible goal in the end of July. He ran 100 miles! That’s right, he ran for over 28 hours without stopping to sleep. I am so amazed by his strength and dedication. Matt’s parents were there to help support him during the race and, honestly, helped to support me. The days of crewing for Matt in races have gotten much more complicated now that we have two kids, especially with a newborn! We all worked together to make this happen as a team and we are so very proud of Matt. Many thanks to Tim and Vickie for providing so much support on so very little sleep and for being so much fun for the kids! Without Pop’s motorhome and Grandmom Vickie’s bag of tricks, this would have been impossible!

What a great weekend! It was so much fun! Matt’s run was amazing, and you, Erin, never stopped either over the 28+ hours! 🙂
